Well i guess lets all watch and see if they are for real this time...cos i know this isn't the first time such thing have been said.
But honestly i think we still need some form of checkpoint in some kind rugged areas ohh....esp in tha Eastern region, where armed robbers full like ma :) but this is good news tho.(pmnews.com)
Checkpoints are actually good for one reason only. They allow motorists slow down at strategic points. There will be no way to control speed if they were not there. NOW my only beef is that these olopa have turned it into points for collecting 'tax' and u can find armed robbers operating verry close to them, and u wont even hear a word from police until the robbers are done. I have personally witnessed it. So motorists, trying to avoid the collection drive straight through. All I can say is that this new rule is good, but does not solve much bcso nothing has been put in place to check speeding and such. As for the armed robber thing they are completely useless.
ReplyDeleteI agree. A lot of innocent lives have been lost as a result of these useless checkpoints. Let us wait and see how it goes first
